Small Business Briefings

The Texas Department of Transportation's Office of Civil Right Supportive Services conducts briefing conferences around the state for small, minority- and women-owned businesses. Our goal is to provide training and education to increase prospects for obtaining projects and contracting opportunities with TxDOT.

Overview

The FY2013 Small Business Briefing conferences are scheduled between Nov. 15, 2012 through June 11, 2013, and will offer breakout sessions covering:

• small and minority-owned business certifications
• resources for business development
• marketing for state contracts
• information on current and upcoming TxDOT projects
• and much more!

This year's events include contracting opportunities and industry networking sessions, as well as a certification platform.
